Biosketch:

Dr. Timme is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. She earned her medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her pediatrics residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.

She provides care for children with diabetes and endocrine conditions in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is also an attending physician for the Differences of Sex Development clinic.

Dr. Timme’s academic and research interests are in medical education, developing programs to help physicians become better educators. She is Director of Educational Development for the University of Utah Graduate Medical Education Committee and hosts the Teaching in Medicine podcast. She is an Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, focusing on resident-as-teacher curricula and Fellow School. Dr. Timme is also Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program. She earned a Master of Education degree through the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
