Nevada Projects

Nevada has the following projects and initiatives that support children and youth with special health care needs and their families.
  • Nevada Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program (PMHCAP) The Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) program is a HRSA grant that promotes behavioral health integration into pediatric primary care using telehealth. The overarching goal of the program is to use telehealth modalities to provide timely detection, assessment, treatment, and referral of children and adolescents with behavioral health conditions, using evidence-based practices and methods such as web-based education and training sessions. Rhode Island is one of many state awardees in this program.
