Description: Programs that provide therapeutic interventions for individuals and/or families who are experiencing child abuse including abandonment, neglect, or emotional, physical or sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or other family or extended family member whom the child trusts and who is in a position of power over the child. Counseling is offered in a variety of settings and may include individual, conjoint, family and group therapy sessions for the child, the abusing or non-abusing parent(s) and siblings.(AIRS RP-1400.8000-020.15)

Services Provided: Confident Parenting Home Visiting provides information, support and encouragement through home-based services for families of infants prenatal to age three. Services are available in both Santa Fe and Rio Arriba counties and Spanish speaking staff are available in both counties. Families receive regular visits in their home by trained Home Visitors who support parents in their role as careivers to promote nurturing parent-child relationships. Services Provided: Las Cumbres'24-hour residential services support individuals at two residential sites in Los Alamos County. The Supported Living program enables eight adults with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes in Los Alamos area. Staff support in Supported Living varies, depending upon individuals needs. Some individuals in Supported Living have intense behavioral and medical needs and require staff assistance for all daily living skills. Other individuals are more independent and require less assistance. Supported Living staff members are available 24-hours per day, 365 days a year, including holidays.
