Programs that promote and preserve the conditions that enable community residents to live in a safe and peaceful environment through the enforcement of laws that protect life and property and the administration of justice according to the principles of law and equity. Included are crime prevention programs as well as programs that investigate and make arrests for criminal behavior; provide support for witnesses to and victims of crimes; and provide for the arraignment, prosecution and defense, judgment, sentencing, confinement and eventual release and resettlement of offenders. Services Provided: The rental on all 75 units is income-based, i.e. family pays 30% of their adjusted income, for rent and utilities and there is adjacent parking for all units. These complexes are located next to the Armijo Senior Meal Site and First Choice Medical Complex and within one block of the new Sheriff's Sub-station. Complex One is known as El Centro Familiar Senior Housing Complex, and is a gated community with all 54 units being equipped with fire and medical alarms. Complex Two is known as Seybold Village and contains 21 handicapped accessible units.

Services Provided: Volunteer Peer Counselors age 55 and up make supportive weekly home visits to other seniors who reside in Sandoval County. Peer counselors receive training in basic counseling techniques and mental health issues and receive monthly supervision from a licensed social worker. Counselors visit their clients approximately once a week and provide not only emotional support but also referrals to resources. The program director and volunteers also provide educational programs and discussion groups at senior sites around Sandoval County.

Eligibility: No fee. Child must be under 18 years of age to be registered.
Services Provided: Child Find of America brings missing children home. Prevents child abduction and locates missing children through investigation, photo distribution, mediation and public information, at no fee.
A location service for missing, abducted or runaway children. Will take siting phone calls. They will mediate child custody cases when a parent has abducted the children. Prevention and other materials are available at no charge.
If parental abduction, they need certified copies of the custody papers, a notarized registration form and a picture of the missing children.
