Services Provided: Kindred Hospital Albuquerque is a 61-bed Joint Commission accredited long-term acute care hospital, including six intensive care unit beds and two medical/surgical units. Focus is on acute patients requiring longer than average length of stay.Services include ventilator weaning, pre- and post-operative complex wound care, a traumatic brain injury program with coma stimulation, medically complex/multisystem failure management, morbid obesity management, inpatient pulmonary rehabilitation and spinal cord injury management. Also offers a two-bed sleep lab for both inpatient and outpatient evaluations.

Services Provided: The Arc of New Mexico provides information about developmental disabilities services in New Mexico, including the DD waiver and Mi Via. The Arc can direct individuals to services and programs for adults, families and children, benefits, need for and alternatives to guardianship, trusts and life time future planning, self-advocacy, self-direction and self-determination. The Arc of New Mexico provides guardianship services to persons with developmental disabilities who live in New Mexico and have no family or friends to provide support. A staff of professional guardians is available to assist individuals with developmental disabilities with decision-making.The Arc of New Mexico provides advocacy, information about a wide range of topics related to developmental disabilities. An advocate can be reached by phone or e-mail to answer questions or refer callers to other programs, services and resources that may better meet their needs. The Arc of New Mexico operates a number of programs around the state that address local efforts in various communities to empower individuals and develop communities to better serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
