Services Provided: Carlsbad Municipal Transit System CMTS was established in June of 1996. CMTS is responsible for the provision of public transit services within the City of Carlsbad corporate limits and portions of Eddy County immediately adjacent to the city. CMTS operates with three types of services, Demand Response public dial-a-ride door to door service, fixed Route Service, and ADA complementary Paratransit Service.Presently, CMTS averages 5,000 riders each month. All drivers and staff are trained in CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and Blood Bourne Pathogens. CMTS has a fleet of 21 maxi vans, 18 of which are ADA Accessable, including wheelchair lisfts and tie-downs.

Services Provided: Public transportation service for the Clovis area. Through a cooperative effort, the City of Clovis, NM Public Transportation Programs Bureau, NM Department of Labor and NM Department of Human Services fund the delivery of services within the city limits. CATS provides curb to curb service. Reservations are requested a minimum of 1 day in advance, but should be made as early as possible to ensure the time requested can be granted. The passenger's out-of-pocket fare is 50 per trip with the above mentioned agencies funding the balance of the cost. Service is accessible to disabled persons. At the time the reservation is made the clerk should be made aware of the type of assistance that is required. At the present time CATS does not have fixed route service nor fixed bus stops. All service is demand response and reservations must be booked in advance.

Services Provided: The Columbus Ben Archer Health Center BAHC site was established in 1998. Primary care service area for the BAHC in Columbus includes all communities in Luna County. Deming and Columbus are the larger population centers in Luna County. The primary care clinic is located at 626 Taft Street, an 8,000 square foot, modern medical facility that provides medical and dental services.Columbus, New Mexico, which is about 35-40 miles to the south of Deming, is a small rural community of approximately 1,475 residents located on the southern end of Luna County along the U.S./Mexico border. It's sister city, Puerto, Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico is only three miles south of Columbus and has a larger population estimated at anywhere between 3,000 to 10,000 depending on whose estimates are used. These two isolated communities depend very closely upon one another, with both relying heavily on agriculture as the dominant economic force in the region. Due to their relative isolation and lack of infrastructure, resources are scarce on both sides of the border. Medical and dental services are offered to all individuals regardless of ability to pay. Transportation to medical appointments is available. Prescriptions are couriered to the site through the main Pharmacy in Las Cruces.

All Ben Archer Health Centers have drug storage rooms where BAHC patients can fill their prescriptions at a discount rate. The Dona Ana site has a full service pharmacy. Ben Archer Health Center provides a full scope of outpatient family practice medical services, which include perinatal and family, emergency medical treatment, disease screening and control, immunizations and other medical support services. Comprehensive dental services are offered and are coordinated with medical services at all sites. Services include: general family dentistry, limited: oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and prostodontics. Pediatric dental services are being offered at the Columbus and Alamogordo sites. Services Provided: Ben Archer Health Center Transportation provides low or no cost transportation to JARC and TANAF riders that are seeking transportation to work, school, daycare, and job search. At this time we are not providing services for riders that need transportation for medical or dental visits. To qualify for our transportation the rider must be receiving government help such as but not limited to food stamps, medicaid, WIC, or must make less than 40K a year. It is a 12,230 square foot, modern medical facility that has the necessary room for the provision of medical and dental services. This site has the only pediatric dental services in the area that serves the Medicaid population. Behavioral Health services are offered in the Family Services Building to children and adults who qualify for substance abuse services or Medicaid or who have private insurance. Services include individual, family & group therapy, and medication management. Home visitation and specific services to pregnant women and new parents are also offered. Medical and dental services are offered to all individuals regardless of ability to pay. A full service pharmacy provides discounted prescriptions to patients receiving care at Ben Archer Health Center. Transportation to medical appointments is available as well.
