Services Provided: Carlsbad Municipal Transit System CMTS was established in June of 1996. CMTS is responsible for the provision of public transit services within the City of Carlsbad corporate limits and portions of Eddy County immediately adjacent to the city. CMTS operates with three types of services, Demand Response public dial-a-ride door to door service, fixed Route Service, and ADA complementary Paratransit Service.Presently, CMTS averages 5,000 riders each month. All drivers and staff are trained in CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and Blood Bourne Pathogens. CMTS has a fleet of 21 maxi vans, 18 of which are ADA Accessable, including wheelchair lisfts and tie-downs.

Services Provided: Public transportation service for the Clovis area. Through a cooperative effort, the City of Clovis, NM Public Transportation Programs Bureau, NM Department of Labor and NM Department of Human Services fund the delivery of services within the city limits. CATS provides curb to curb service. Reservations are requested a minimum of 1 day in advance, but should be made as early as possible to ensure the time requested can be granted. The passenger's out-of-pocket fare is 50 per trip with the above mentioned agencies funding the balance of the cost. Service is accessible to disabled persons. At the time the reservation is made the clerk should be made aware of the type of assistance that is required. At the present time CATS does not have fixed route service nor fixed bus stops. All service is demand response and reservations must be booked in advance.

Services Provided: The North Central Regional Transit District provides free and premium fare-based bus transit connecting communities and pueblos throughout the counties of north central New Mexico including Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos. The signature RTD Blue Buses provide riders with connections to New Mexico Rail Runner, Santa Fe Trails, NMDOT Park and Ride, Los Alamos Atomic City Transit, Po' Pay Messenger Service and Red River Miners Transit. All of its buses are ADA accessible and equipped with bicycle racks. The RTD provides service on 25 Fixed and Flex routes, two Demand Response routes and one Dial-a-Ride service.

Services Provided: Services include medical, dental and behavioral health care to all ages. No patient is denied services due to inability to pay. The primary care clinics for the medically indigent and medically under served provide a range of health care services which include primary medical, dental and behavioral health care, health education, transportation, referral services to physicians and hospitals, limited laboratory services, x-ray and eligibility determination for assistance programs. All Ben Archer Health Centers have drug storage rooms where BAHC patients can fill their prescriptions at a discount rate. The Dona Ana site has a full service pharmacy. Ben Archer Health Center provides a full scope of outpatient family practice medical services, which include perinatal and family, emergency medical treatment, disease screening and control, immunizations and other medical support services. Comprehensive dental services are offered and are coordinated with medical services at all sites. Services include: general family dentistry, limited: oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and prostodontics. Pediatric dental services are being offered at the Columbus and Alamogordo sites. Behavioral health services are offered at most sites that include individual, family and groups therapy that is coordinated with medical services

Services Provided: Ben Archer Health Center Transportation provides low or no cost transportation to JARC and TANAF riders that are seeking transportation to work, school, daycare, and job search. At this time we are not providing services for riders that need transportation for medical or dental visits. To qualify for our transportation the rider must be receiving government help such as but not limited to food stamps, medicaid, WIC, or must make less than 40K a year. We operate on a modified fixed routhe which means we have our daily stops fo riders but can change to accommodate new riders.

The department responds to over 12,500 calls for assistance annually with six engine companies, two truck companies, a battalion chief, and several support vehicles. Services Provided: RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems. RSVP volunteers choose how and where they want to servefrom a few hours to over 40 hours a week. At RSVP it is easy for older adults to find types of volunteer service opportunities that appeal to them. RSVP volunteers provide hundreds of community services. They help children in reading and math, help build houses, help get children immunized, model parenting skills to teen parents, participate in neighborhood watch programs, plan community gardens, deliver meals, prepare income taxes, transport other seniors to medical appointments, visit nursing home residents, help community organizations operate more efficiently and many more.

Services Provided: The Crisis Intervention Response Team, which is part of the assistance program, is on-call 24 hours a day and responds to requests for victim assistance from police. The program provides free services to victims of crime by assisting with the preparation of protection orders, referrals to other agencies, and applications for compensation under the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission guidelines.The service guides victims through the criminal justice system. These are advocates who are available and free of charge, and have time to listen. Many times just being there for people is what they need most.Victim Assistance tracks 15 major categories of violent crime: voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and battery,negligent use of a deadly weapon, kidnapping, criminal sexual penetrationif response is to the victim's home or the scene of the crime or being reported at a much later date, criminal sexual contact with a minor,physical abuse or neglect of a minor, homicide by vehicular negligence/great bodily harm by a vehicle, abandonment of a child, stalking, harassment, elder abuse, battery against a household member, and aggravated indecent exposure. The program tracks and report crime statistics to the Victim Of Crime Act VOCAgrant administrator at the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission.
