Services Provided:

The New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department provides an array of prevention, intervention, rehabilitative and after-care services to New Mexico children and their families. These include Protective services such as Adoptions or Child Abuse & Neglect, and Early Childhood Services. Juvenile justice services can provide access to Reintegration Centers and Facilities. Behavioral health services include Domestic Violence and Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health.

Cottonwood Counseling provides counseling services to adults, adolescents, children and families. They specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief. They provide quality outpatient mental health services with integrity, compassion, kindness, and connection. The clinicians at Cottonwood Counseling are trained in EMDR, CBT and DBT. They also utilize play therapy and sand tray therapy for children and adolescents.

Services Provided:

The programs that the agency offers include mindfulness, alternative healing, adolescent and family Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adult DBT and Tapestry which is a support group for individuals transitioning into and out of treatment. Awake and Aware also provides couples counseling and individual psychotherapy. The adult DBT program includes individual therapy, skills group therapy, phone coaching as well as consultation (team treatment).

Services Provided:

They are the trusted advocates for children and their families affected by trauma. They focus on the prevention, intervention, investigation and treatment of childhood trauma. As a Children’s Advocacy Center(CAC) accredited by the National Children’s Alliance they provide a child-friendly facility where law enforcement, child protection, family advocacy, therapy, and training offer children and their caregivers safety and a road to healing and recovery.
