The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and focus on helping participants accept their loss, express their grief, move through the bereavement process and put their lives back together. Services Provided: Family Bereavement ServicesThe death of a loved one can be overwhelming and everybody differs in coping styles. While grief is natural and expected after a significant loss, defining a "normal" grief process is never an easy task. The hospice bereavement program is designed to help define that process and help healing and adjustment take place. Services include one on one support, support groups and reading materials.Community Bereavement ServicesThe Center for Grief Services extends bereavement counseling to members of the community. The Centers offers education, group support and individual counseling as well as outreach and support to schools and other professionals.
