Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is a local nonprofit that assists New Mexicans in finding jobs and gaining access to specialized social services. The ILRC provides services for individuals with disabilities aimed at independence and serves Bernalillo, Cibola, De Baca, Guadalupe, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia counties. Services include Technical Services Program, Technical Assistance Program, Education and Awareness, Attendant Services Program, Nursing Home Transition, and Independent Living Services. Physical sites include the Albuquerque Main, East Mountain, Alamogordo, and Socorro offices.

The VAMOS Employment Preparation Program is designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities who are navigating the transition from high school to adult life (14+ years of age) without access to long-term services. VAMOS students participate in workshops and learning experiences focused on building soft skills, self-advocacy, benefits counseling, financial literacy, social-emotional growth, and tools for adult living. Ages 18-23, students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Provides a four year postsecondary curriculum of study to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Services Include:

• Person Centered Planning
• Support staff attends the class with the student
• Additional assistance through a two hour support class.
• Work specialty area. Most students are placed on-campus with a support staff member in their first year and gradually they have the opportunity to explore off campus placements.
• Students live on and off campus.

Students completing their four years with the Mason LIFE Program will graduate with a George Mason Certificate of Completion with a catalog concentration and a work specialty area.
