Services Provided: Registers and monitors day care homes and provides reimbursement for meals served to day care children at the day care. Provides training and technical support for day care providers including referral services, nutritional education, day care conferences and workshops. Providers may qualify to claim and be reimbursed for their own child's/children's meals when a day care child is present. Monies received from CACFP are considered reimbursement and is not taxable and therefore will not interfere with Social Security, TANF monies or total income from tax purposes.
