Services Provided: The St. Joseph Home Visiting program provides first time mothers, fathers and primary care providers with support and education to encourage normal growth and development of healthy babies in positive, nurturing families. Home visits increase knowledge, skills and insight into the parenting process. Referral specialists provide additional support to help families access needed community services and with issues including housing, employment, education, legal services, etc. St. Joseph also acts as an advocate for issues related to early childhood development at the local and state level.Services are available to first time mothers, fathers and primary caregivers and their newborn. Enrollment must begin during pregnancy or before the baby is 2 months old. Serving Albuquerque, Bernalillo and Belen.
