Services Provided: Treatment Programs: Thorough assessments are tailored to individual needs. Evaluations include comprehensive information about oral motor skills, swallowing and eating, listening, and speaking, reading and writing, and nonverbal communication. Results are discussed with the family and integrated into a family-focused treatment plan. Treatment is provided in the most appropriate location for each individual, including at this office, work site, home and in the community. Special programs are included, such as Individual and group sessions, augmentative communication, family training and education, computer-assisted learning, literacy training, social language skills. The speech-language pathologists at this center are highly specialized and trained to evaluate and treat communication disorders and developmental delays. They are nationally- and state-certified in speech-language pathology. They can assist children and adults with a variety of communication challenges, including: Nonverbal Communication, Swallowing Disorders, Oral Motor Development, Aphasia, Pervasive Developmental Disorders/ Autism, Phonological Disorders, Apraxia of Speech, Reading and Writing Disabilities, Auditory Processing Disorders, Attention and Memory Deficits, Executive Function Disorders, Stuttering, Voice.
