They provide behavioral health services to adults and children with emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, learning and substance abuse problems. They can help with living with the family or independently, parent/child relationships, family and peer relationships, managing behaviors, and making life choices. They can also help with substance abuse, anger management, depression and anxiety, education, employment/vocation, housing, juvenile justice involvement, mental health, and physical health.

Aprendamos Intervention Team is a therapist-run organization that serves children and families’ needs through early intervention. Team services include speech-language, occupational, physical, and family therapists. A nurse, nutritionist, family services coordinators, developmental instructions, infant massage therapists, and pediatric specialists are also available. Mental health clinicians specializing in play therapy interventions, MDMR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. The Autism program has 16 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and about 50 Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT).

Southwest Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health, LLC. offers: Clinical & Forensic Assessment, Psychiatry Services, Psychotherapy Services, Assistive Technology, and Occupational Therapy services.

At PMS, they offer a wide range of therapy and treatment options. They serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Their clients come from all walks of life and all diversities. Some of their common services include providing individual, couples, family and group therapy for mental health and substance use disorders, medication evaluation and management, and crisis intervention.

It is The Community Lighthouse’s goal to promote a safe, caring, and confidential environment. A licensed clinician will do an assessment to make appropriate recommendations for treatment, and identify a highly personalized approach tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. There are a wide variety of experienced clinicians who can assist with common symptoms, such as healing trauma, relief from anxiety, reducing feelings of depression, and repairing relationships.

In 2020 Border Area Mental Health Services, Southwest Counseling Center and Southern New Mexico Human Development merged into one organization. In 2021 the supportive, property holding organizations; Southern Rio Grande Mental Health Foundation and Mimbres Regional Mental Health Corporation also merged. They serve a mixed urban-rural area of southern New Mexico. The Center serves the communities of Dona Ana, Grant, Luna, Hildago and Otero Counties. There are approximately 2,000 open client cases throughout the various locations of the Center.
