Best Buddies in New Mexico offers One-to-One Friendship, Integrated Employment, and Leadership Development programs for individuals with and without disabilities. One-to-one friendships between individuals with and without IDD heightens social and emotional development. Integrated employment secures jobs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), allowing them to earn an income, pay taxes, and continuously and independently support themselves. The leadership programs educate and empower people with and without IDD to become leaders, public speakers and advocates.

The Space provides opportunities for youth ages 16-22 to safely express themselves, feel a sense of belonging, connect, and develop positive relationships with other peers and supportive adults. The Space utilizes a peer-driven approach to provide a low-barrier and safe refuge to engage any young person who is feeling disconnected or is unhoused. The Space provides resources such as basic needs, medical and legal aid, behavioral health and community resources.
