The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation provides adaptive programs, resources, and assistance that allow children with special needs to discover their independence and creativity despite their physical limitations, as well as financial support to the UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital for equipment and research. The UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital is the state’s only pediatric rehabilitative hospital and today serves thousands of children each year with many types of illnesses and disabling conditions. The Foundation has several programs outside the purview of the hospital, including the Patient and Family Assistance program that provides wheelchair ramps, bathroom remodeling, and rent and utility assistance; the Quality of Life program that offers recreational activities for children with physical disabilities, such as kayaking, sports, and Keshet dance; and the children's Camp Adventure program where campers enjoy sports, art, music, and games.

Working with their partners, NM DOH Human Services Department designs and delivers innovative, high quality health and human services that improve the security and promote independence for New Mexicans in their communities. The Human Services Department provides services and benefits to 1,107,169 New Mexicans through several programs including Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), child support, and several behavioral health services.

The Rotary Club of Albuquerque Del Sol is a group of active and involved community members with a passion for service and friendship. They engage in local and international community service projects and raise funds for charities serving children and families throughout the state. The New Mexico Governors Charity Ball, their annual gala and signature fundraising event, has raised nearly $1 million over the past fifteen years for important causes and deserving beneficiaries. The Rotary Club welcome community members to join them for fellowship, fun, and new adventures. The Risen Savior/Prince of Peace Conference (The Society of St. Vincent de Paul) serves clients through home visits by providing consultation, direct dollars support, and in-kind services. The visit takes about one hour and provides the family with time to share the full story of their need. In turn, this home visit enables the Vincentian team to make a plan for assistance that matches the needs. Typical assistance pays for emergency food, rent, and utilities. The Society provides short-term financial, material and emotional support. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul advocates, educates and gives referrals to individuals.

The City of Albuquerque's Los Griegos Center staff provides emergency food, utility and rental assistance, as well as community meeting rooms and seasonal services and activities to residents of the Northeast Heights, Northwest Valley, and the North Westside areas of Albuquerque. Year-round services include TEFAP food boxes, emergency diapers, utility and rental assistance (based on available funds), information and referrals to other collaborating agencies and meeting rooms for neighborhood and community groups. Season services include Toys for Tots, health fairs and community fairs. On-site health care agencies include First Choice Community Healthcare, 505-345-3244; UNM Hospital-Maternity & Family Planning Clinic, 505-272-2158 and WIC, 505-345-8181.

The City of Albuquerque's John Marshall Center staff provides emergency food, clothing, utility assistance, and rental assistance, as well as community meeting rooms and seasonal services and activities, to residents of the Central Southeast Heights and Downtown areas of Albuquerque. Year-round services include TEFAP food boxes, emergency diapers, emergency hygiene products, clothing bank, utility and rental assistance (based on available funds), notary public, information and referrals to other collaborating agencies, meeting rooms for neighborhood and community groups and ABQ-GED Learning Lab (505-907-9957). Seasonal services include community fairs and Toys for Tots. Joy Junction is a 501(c)(3) faith-based church ministry that offers emergency and short-term essentials such as food, clothing, counseling, transportation, shelter to homeless men, women, children, and families throughout Albuquerque. They are committed to providing for the basic physical needs as well as the spiritual needs of the homeless. Joy Junction also collaborates with other nonprofit charitable organizations, which include Steelbridge, Albuquerque Opportunity Center, COAST and other rescue organizations/homeless shelters in town. Joy Junction provides assistance in the following ways: outreach ministry, homeless shelter (open 24/7/365), day shelter program, family assistance for the homeless and children's charity.

Every year, the PNM Good Neighbor Fund distributes hundreds of thousands of dollars to thousands of limited-income families in the areas PNM serves, with up to $370 credited directly on qualified customer bills once per year. This program is funded through their employees, shareholders, and customers. Your PNM bill must be past-due to receive financial assistance. Valid identification is required for all household members and children, including the PNM account holder named on the PNM bill. Proof of income for all adults living in the household, including the PNM account holder named on the bill.

HELP New Mexico, Inc. exists to empower positive action through sustainable social services. Inspire and motivate through effective community improvement programs and to educate families and communities through innovative coaching. HELP New Mexico is an affiliate of UnidosUS, the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. Programs include education, food assistance, job training, housing, childcare, early childhood education and basic assistance. This includes short-term housing stabilization assistance in the following counties: Hidalgo, Luna, Grant, Roosevelt, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Torrance, Lincoln, Quay and Curry.

HopeWorks has multiple programs. These include the Hope Found, which was founded as a way to eliminate family homelessness in the greater Albuquerque area. They do this by coordinating rapid, affordable, and stable housing and supportive services for families that are experiencing homelessness. The Housing Division operates 11+ housing programs to meet the needs of clients. The HopeWorks Day Shelter provides a place for individuals experiencing homelessness to rest, receive meals, clothing, showers, storage, and more – all while obtaining supportive services and housing. In terms of behavioral health, HopeWorks employs multiple modalities that have been proven effective. Hope Village is a 42-unit single-site single-site permanent supportive housing project next to the existing Day Shelter on 3rd Street and Mountain near downtown Albuquerque. Grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses and assists those experiencing poverty, abuse, or homelessness. Offers funeral cost assistance to families who have lost a child. 

Completed applications must be returned to the Trust by the end of each quarter: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. 

Provides financial assistance to people who suffer deafness or hearing impairment.  Assistance includes obtaining mechanical devices, medical or specialized treatment or specialized education as well as speech classes, note takers, interpreters, etc. and in other areas of need that are directly related to hearing impairment.

 Provides assistance to single working parents who: Have a child/children between the ages of 5 and 15; Work at least 20 hours a week; And meet the salary requirements, as detailed in the Application Guidelines.

Provides financial assistance to single working parents who wish to enroll their children in extracurricular and enrichment programs.

Individuals with autism who are non-verbal or minimally verbal and whose communication challenges put them at increased risk of injury or harm. For those in extreme financial need.

Parent-led non-profit organization that responds to the most urgent needs of the autism community, providing real help and hope so that all affected can reach their full potential. Provides expense assistance for assistive technology, as well as information on disease and disability.

Assists low income individuals with a range of needs including mobility equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, vehicle modifications such as hand controls and lifts), ramps and minor house modifications for accessibility, medical equipment (not including medical bills or back bills), and prostheses. Applications accepted from referring professionals only (social worker, case manager, teacher, school counselor, minister, etc.).
