The mission of the Income Support Division (ISD) is to relieve, minimize or eliminate poverty and to make available certain services for eligible low-income individuals and families through statewide programs of financial assistance, food assistance, employment assistance, and training services.

The New Mexico Independent Consumer Support System (NMICSS) links together resources throughout the state to assist Medicaid Centennial Care enrollees receiving long-term services and supports (LTSS). The NMICSS provides Centennial Care beneficiaries, as well as their advocates and counselors, information and referral resources to assist in choosing the appropriate Managed Care Organization. Working with their partners, NM DOH Human Services Department designs and delivers innovative, high quality health and human services that improve the security and promote independence for New Mexicans in their communities. The Human Services Department provides services and benefits to 1,107,169 New Mexicans through several programs including Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), child support, and several behavioral health services.

Western Sky Community Care is committed to providing solutions for Medicaid beneficiaries throughout New Mexico. Western Sky Community Care, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene, in partnership with the New Mexico Human Services Department, will provide coordinated healthcare, long term services and supports, pharmacy, vision and transportation services. Western Sky Community Care will work closely with Primary Care Providers and Centennial Care enrolled members in providing comprehensive care coordination ensuring their medical needs are met. They partner with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other providers, such as pharmacy and vision, to ensure that each member receives quality healthcare.

Blue Cross Community Centennial Plan is a health insurance plan that is part of New Mexico's Medicaid program. Plans include medical benefits, drug coverage, dental and vision care, behavioral health, transportation and long term care. Value added services include physical health services, maternity services, and behavior health services. Home meal delivery, Native American Traditional Healing and Wellness, remote monitoring program and respite bed are offered for under physical health service.

Its mission is to advance solutions to challenges facing the nation by increasing public understanding of how social insurance contributes to economic security. Social insurance encompasses broad-based systems that help workers and their families pool risks to avoid loss of income due to retirement, death, disability, or unemployment and ensure access to health care. They provide information on social security, Medicare, workers' compensation and disability, unemployment insurance, and long-term services and supports.

Provides comprehensive and preventive health care services for children under age 21 who are enrolled in Medicaid. States are required to provide comprehensive services and furnish all Medicaid coverable, appropriate, and medically necessary services needed to correct and ameliorate health conditions, based on certain federal guidelines.
