WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors in a targeted, at-risk population. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program.

Services Provided: First Nations Community Healthsource's Social Support Services Program's mission is to provide assistance to American Indians residing in Albuquerque whose family income is as or below 80% of the median family income with their housing, legal documents, vocational, financial, food, clothing, rental and other needs. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for American Indians and by assisting them with their basic survival needs. Social Support Services provides counseling, referrals, and direct assistance and works in collaboration with all other programs including Primary Care, Dental, Behavioral Health, Pathways, etc.Must bring Identification Driver's License, CIB, Tribal Registration, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and/or Photo ID, proof of residency, and proof of income.
