Services Provided: Kindred Hospital Albuquerque is a 61-bed Joint Commission accredited long-term acute care hospital, including six intensive care unit beds and two medical/surgical units. Focus is on acute patients requiring longer than average length of stay.Services include ventilator weaning, pre- and post-operative complex wound care, a traumatic brain injury program with coma stimulation, medically complex/multisystem failure management, morbid obesity management, inpatient pulmonary rehabilitation and spinal cord injury management. Services Provided: MVCHS provides a full range of outpatient primary medical services including acute and chronic care. Although we are not an urgent care facility, emergency service is available for a wide range of procedures when the need is present. Basic laboratory testing is also available at the clinic and we have a basic pharmacy serving those who are unable to afford their medications. We provide physical examinations for employment and insurance requirements. Specialized services such as OB/GYN and diagnostic x-ray are available through referrals to providers in Las Vegas and other areas. MVCHS offers behavioral health services through group and individual therapy sessions. Our mission is to deliver and coordinate high quality behavioral health services that are readily accessible to residents of Mora County and surrounding areas with the goal of assisting them in attaining optimal functioning in daily life. MVCHS offers a full complement of dental care services provided by a licensed dentist and ancillary dental staff. Services Provided: Our health centers provide a safety net of medical care for thousands of New Mexicans of all ages. Everyone is eligible to receive PMS medical services. In addition to private pay, we accept Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. For the uninsured, a sliding fee scale is available based on income. Your emotional wellness is every bit as important as your physical wellbeing. We provide support for a wide range of behavioral health conditions. Our services include crisis intervention, comprehensive assessments, individual and family counseling, psychiatric consultation and medications, substance abuse programs, educational groups for a variety of problems, and additional community support programs for those with serious, chronic mental health conditions.
