The New Mexico Council has provided school age child care since 1981. In addition, we provide programs that promote self-esteem, leadership skills, and character building.Well-trained staff are key to quality youth programming. The New Mexico Council strives to provide a work environment and a salary and benefit structure which attract high-quality individuals, promote staff longevity, encourage learning, and instill loyalty and commitment to positive youth development. Generally, we provide a 12 to 1 child to staff ratio in our school-age programs. Safety of your children is one of our major concerns. Staff are interviewed by Human Resource personnel, carefully screened through reference and criminal record checks. Staff are required to attend initial orientation, First Aid and CPR training, and participate in on-going continuing education. Now offering a Summer Adventure Camp.
