Services Provided: The Abundant Grace Free Store is a ministry of the United Methodist Church. The Free Store is open to all people. The store provides houshold goods: kitchen ware, bedding, linens, large appliances Refrigerator, washing machine, etc. and small appliances electric coffee pots, microwaves, etc., furniture sofas, chairs, tables, lamps and some decorative items for people who need these things for their home. In an effort to serve as many people as possible,there are monthly shopping limits. One member card for the Abundant Grace Free Store is given to each household.

Services Provided: Has a number of rental complexes also has Section 8, 30% of their income = rental cost. Handicap accessible complexes. Also provides a service coordination program, in which tenants are applicable to receive assistance with obtaining furnishings, food, utility assistance, counseling and/or job training. Complexes have on-site laundry, are within blocks of grocery stores, provide high-speed Internet access, and are on a SunTran bus route.

Services Provided: We have different programs ran out of our agency. The COMIDA program is a state funded program that reimburses in-home childcare providers for nutritious meals served to the children in their care. This program is provided in the Chavez county area. The After School Program is where school aged children ages 5-12 can participate in after school activities. This service is only available in Roswell. The Training and Technical Assistance Program offers workshops, seminars and technical assistance available to childcare providers to help increase their knowledge of childcare issues and strategies provided in homes and centers. This program is provided in Chaves, Eddy, Lea and Lincoln counties. Toy/Resource Lending Library is available free of charge to child care providers, public agencies, parents and centers. Our objective is to provide developmentally appropriate materials for children in our city. Information is available to help understand the different stages of learning and how to choose appropriate toys.

Services Provided: The New Mexico Seed Loan Program assists persons with disabilities to purchase equipment for a home-based business or remote employment through a low interest loan program. The loan program provides loan guarantees and interest rate subsidies through an agreement with the Technology Loan Council, First Community Bank and the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Interest rates are currently at 2.25%. The New Mexico Seed loan Program is supported by Federal and State funds on deposit with the State Treasury.
