Services Provided: The Brain Injury Association of New Mexico is not a direct provider of services to persons with brain injury. As a private non-profit agency we do offer information, contacts and indirect assistance for families looking for support and other direct services. It is the Aging and Long Term Services which funds The New Mexico TBI Program, a regionalized community-based services for persons with traumatic brain injuries. Services include specialized TBI Case Management to assist individuals and family members in accessing necessary services. The TBI Program offers specialized Life Skills training designed to assist consumers in learning or relearning skills such as money management, cooking, or anger management. The Crisis Interim Fund which serves as a payer of last resort and provides funding for needed services and items. The application for the New Mexico TBI Program from their website listed above. Services Provided: At the UNM Dental Hygiene Student Clinic, students are supervised by licensed dental faculty. Appointments generally run three hours long and additional appointments may be needed to complete therapy. Patients should call the appointment desk to inquire about clinic schedule. The dental hygiene student clinic offers a full range of preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services. Dental hygiene Appointment days and times vary in spring and fall semester schedules. Services Provided: The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center offers a multi-dimensional program with a wide variety of leisure activities. The minimum age to participate in these activities is 50. The activities range from recreational to educational, active to passive, individual to group. Services Provided: No cost or low cost health coverage for children under 19 years old. If your household income is less than 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, health care services are provided to your child at no cost. If your household income is between 185%-235% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, some of the health care services your child receives may require that you make a co-payment at the time each service is provided. Preventive services, such as Tot to Teen Health Checks and immunizations do not require a co-payment.
