Programs that provide assistance in performing routine household, yard and personal care activities for older adults, people with disabilities, eligible low income people, families whose normal routines have been disrupted by an emergency or others who need or want these services. The objective of in-home assistance is to help the recipient sustain independent living in a clean, safe and healthy home environment. (AIRS PH-3300)

Nezzy Care of Las Cruces is a provider agency that is contracted to the State of New Mexico Department of Health and Developmental Disabilities Support Division. The Agency has been providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the DD Waiver since 2007 and are currently accredited through CQL. They provide services including supported living, community support, family living, respite, and employment services

Services Provided:

Consumer Direct New Mexico provides customer service and customized care plans to individuals, in every county throughout New Mexico. Consumer-directed care is available to individuals who need attendant care services in their homes. Self-directed care puts individuals in control, allowing them to arrange and direct their own services. Individuals can select, train and manage their caregiver who may be a trusted friend, neighbor, or relative. Individuals must be capable of directing their own services or arranging for a representative to act on their behalf.

Eligibility:

Provides FREE house cleaning to any household with a man, woman, or child battling any type of cancer. Patients are eligible if they are recovering from cancer surgery, in cancer treatment, or in hospice care.

Services Provided:

Matches patients with a local cleaning service. Patients may receive one round of services, which is two free home cleanings (one general cleaning per month for up to two months). Service depends on the availability of a local company.
