Included may be printed materials or videos that address the subject; psycho-educational and skill building activities; structured groups; and presentations in schools and agencies and to family groups regarding the dangers of alcohol and drug use and smoking, the signs of substance use disorders, the legal consequences of illegal substance use and how to get help. Services Provided:

The 5-Actions Program's primary goals are to help individuals better understand problems with substance use and/or behavioral addictions, and implement a plan to effectively address these issues in their life. This free program includes extensive self-screening and assessment tools to help identify problems with substance use and/or behavioral addictions. The tools are not diagnostic, but may help identify issues that contribute to ongoing struggles. And if indicated, they will encourage further evaluation by treatment professionals. Services Provided:

The Student Services office at Navajo Tech University (NTU) provides disability accommodations, substance abuse prevention, and student life and activities. Disability Support Services assist with students reasonable accommodations to a course, programs, services, on-campus jobs, and activities. Substance Abuse & Counseling Referral Services include mental health screening, assessment, alcohol and drug evaluation, counseling, referrals, and aftercare/follow-up services. The Student Life and Leadership Office supports campus programming to promotes learning, personal growth, self-governance, and social responsibility.
