Dental Care Expense Assistance

Programs that pay the dental bills of people who are unable to obtain necessary dental care without assistance. Also included are programs that provide vouchers which enable eligible individuals to obtain dental care. Dental bill payment assistance programs may have age, income, disability, need or other eligibility requirements. (AIRS LH-5100.1700)

NM Community Dental is a general dentistry practice. They do exams and x-rays, cleaning, sealants, fillings, extractions, braces, whitening, bridges, crowns, root canals, dentures, and partials. They also offer services to low-income families through an income-based discount program. At New Mexico Community Dental a person may qualify for funding, or sliding fee discounts, based on income and family size. To apply for the program, they require that each individual meet certain income-based requirements, and will need to provide proof of eligibility every six months. They accept all dental insurances including Medicaid. If a person does not have dental insurance several financing options are available: pay-as-you-go, payment plans, or Care Credit for those that qualify.
