Programs that provide care and supervision in a protective setting for dependent adults living in the community during some portion of a 24-hour day. Services may include social and recreational activities, training that is essential for sustaining activities of daily living, hot meals, as appropriate and, if an adult day health care center, health and related services. Since 2001, ABWL has served the Greater Albuquerque Community as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. The aim is to collaborate with others to provide the essential assistance for persons with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their lives, including employment, education, leisure, and relationships. ABWL also educates others about the challenges that persons with developmental impairments experience. ABWL provides community outreach information such as events and fundraisers.

Services Provided:

Dungarvin New Mexico, LLC has been a provider since 1994 and currently provides services for more than 140 individuals. Supported living, residential and day services are provided within the following counties: Bernalillo, Cibola, McKinley, and San Juan. In addition, family living services are provided in the following counties: Cibola and San Juan. Family, Infant, and Toddler (FIT) Program services are provided in McKinley county, including Zuni Pueblo.

Services Provided:

Tobosa Developmental Services in Southeast New Mexico provides services to individuals living with developmental disabilities. Services include day-hab, family living, assisted living, employment services, respite services, and a more intensive Supported Living program that offers 24-hour guidance to students with developmental disabilities. Supported Living is a safe home where students can build skills for independent living, while at the same time receiving the support they currently need to perform tasks of daily living such as eating, bathing, taking medication, meal preparation, laundry and grocery shopping. Tobosa Developmental Services works together with its two sister charities to support children and adults. Los Pasitos provides Early Intervention services to children aged birth-3 years, and Little Steps Learning Center provides childcare and education for children aged 1-12 years.

Share Your Care Adult Day Service Centers provide a safe and engaging day for adults and seniors who may be frail, physically or developmentally disabled, suffering from Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's or otherwise vulnerable, and Respite for their Caregivers and Family Members. Locations include Albuquerque, Gallup, and Rio Rancho.

Adelante is a diverse nonprofit organization offering a variety of programs for people with disabilities, seniors, and people with disadvantages. They provides community resources such as GiveABQ, Diverse IT, and food services. Disability services include employment and training, day rehabilitation, residential programs, and durable medical equipment. Services in senior programs include senior residential living, senior meals, and a senior center, and business services.
