The Home Rehabilitation Program offers two options to assist Las Cruces families with low and moderate-incomes. Owner-occupant families may secure a zero-interest loan or grant to fund needed home improvements that address health and safety issues. The Mobile Home Ramp Installation Program enables low and moderate-income residents who live in a mobile home and have a qualifying disability to have an ADA-approved wheelchair ramp constructed at their home.

The City of Albuquerque's Los Griegos Center staff provides emergency food, utility and rental assistance, as well as community meeting rooms and seasonal services and activities to residents of the Northeast Heights, Northwest Valley, and the North Westside areas of Albuquerque. Year-round services include TEFAP food boxes, emergency diapers, utility and rental assistance (based on available funds), information and referrals to other collaborating agencies and meeting rooms for neighborhood and community groups. Season services include Toys for Tots, health fairs and community fairs. On-site health care agencies include First Choice Community Healthcare, 505-345-3244; UNM Hospital-Maternity & Family Planning Clinic, 505-272-2158 and WIC, 505-345-8181.

The City of Albuquerque's East Central Center staff helps provide emergency food, utility assistance and rental assistance. Other offerings include seasonal services and activities to residents of the Northeast (Montgomery to Central and Tramway to Carlisle) and Southeast (Gibson to Central and Tramway to Carlisle) areas of Albuquerque. Year-round services include TEFAP food boxes, emergency diapers, utility and rental assistance (based on available funds), information and referrals to other collaborating agencies and a notary public. Please call for specific program and service eligibility requirements. Seasonal services include Toys for Tots and Operation Christmas Cheer (Kirtland Air Force Base). The City of Albuquerque's John Marshall Center staff provides emergency food, clothing, utility assistance, and rental assistance, as well as community meeting rooms and seasonal services and activities, to residents of the Central Southeast Heights and Downtown areas of Albuquerque. Year-round services include TEFAP food boxes, emergency diapers, emergency hygiene products, clothing bank, utility and rental assistance (based on available funds), notary public, information and referrals to other collaborating agencies, meeting rooms for neighborhood and community groups and ABQ-GED Learning Lab (505-907-9957). Seasonal services include community fairs and Toys for Tots. On-site social services and health care agencies are Cuidando Los Ninos Child Care Center, 505-843-6899, UNM Hospital - Maternity and Family Planning Clinic, 505-272-4815 and United South Broadway Corporation, 505-764-8867.

Joy Junction is a 501(c)(3) faith-based church ministry that offers emergency and short-term essentials such as food, clothing, counseling, transportation, shelter to homeless men, women, children, and families throughout Albuquerque. They are committed to providing for the basic physical needs as well as the spiritual needs of the homeless. Joy Junction also collaborates with other nonprofit charitable organizations, which include Steelbridge, Albuquerque Opportunity Center, COAST and other rescue organizations/homeless shelters in town. Joy Junction provides assistance in the following ways: outreach ministry, homeless shelter (open 24/7/365), day shelter program, family assistance for the homeless and children's charity.

Family Promise of Albuquerque addresses the root causes of family homelessness. Family Promise of Albuquerque provides rental assistance, clothing and food assistance, case management and community-based approaches that keep families housed. Family Promise of Albuquerque has partnered with Family Promise National and Help Us Move In (HUMI) to assist families with rental assistance. 94 % of the people served in the shelter program secure housing within an average of ninety days. Community Initiatives include a wide array of programs. Some get to the heart of core needs, such as childcare and job training, families face in order to regain self-sufficiency.

HELP New Mexico, Inc. exists to empower positive action through sustainable social services. Inspire and motivate through effective community improvement programs and to educate families and communities through innovative coaching. HELP New Mexico is an affiliate of UnidosUS, the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. Programs include education, food assistance, job training, housing, childcare, early childhood education and basic assistance. This includes short-term housing stabilization assistance in the following counties: Hidalgo, Luna, Grant, Roosevelt, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Torrance, Lincoln, Quay and Curry.

The Bernalillo County Housing Department provides decent, safe, sanitary, affordable housing opportunities to income eligible residents of the county and administers all of its programs in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances, regulations and guidelines. Hope Village is supportive housing is a single site with 42 housing units with onsite support in Bernalillo County.

The Center for Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance provides housing assistance to individuals and families to assist them to transition to self-sufficiency and sustainable housing. The programs that this organization offer range from one-time rental assistance to long-term permanent housing program. The Center for Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance includes multiple programs. These include Rental Assistance Program (RAP), Proyecto La Luz, which is for single or two parent families experiencing homelessness, Hibernian House, which offers subsidized rental units for low income seniors and Partners in Housing, which serves individuals and parents with children's in Bernalillo County.

WRHA covers the following counties: Valencia County, Torrance County, Catron County, Socorro County, Sierra County, Grant County, Luna County and Hidalgo County. WRHA assists with public housing and has a voucher program. In order to qualify for housing through the voucher program, your family must meet income limits. The income limits are on the county in which you live. Public housing program - 575-388-1974 ext. 204 and 575-388-1974 ext. 205. Women who choose to live in Coalition Housing are required to be employed or attend school fulltime. They are also required to work on the maintenance and improvement of their homes and to participate in monthly self-development and life skills training meetings. Clients meet with staff to evaluate and discuss goals, obstacles, and progress toward self-sufficiency. The mission of the Women’s Housing Coalition is to assist low-income women with children who are motivated to become self-sufficient by providing affordable housing, training, and a variety of support needs.
