The UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center (HSLIC) offers research consultations, custom classes, literature search assistance and guidance, and general help and assistance with finding and using health information. HSLIC partners with the College of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Population Health, and the School of Medicine with the aim of improving health and health equity across New Mexico through education, research, clinical care, and community engagement. As the only publicly accessible academic health sciences library in New Mexico, HSLIC plays an important role in providing health information access and health literacy skills and training for the community.

Medical Home Portal is a tool and project that was implemented in 2001, and is utilized in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Rhode Island, Utah, and in New Mexico that is a one-stop shop for children and youth with special health care requirements (CYSHCN) for Families, Medical Home Teams and Physicians, Caregivers and Other Professionals.
