Presbyterian Medical Services works collaboratively with community groups, school districts, local providers, hospitals and governments at every level. They develop programs and services that meet the needs of the people living within these communities. Their services include primary care, dental, behavioral health, early childhood education, supportive living, and senior programs. PMS operate approximately 100 programs in communities throughout the state. Many of the individuals served by Presbyterian Medical Services live at or below the federal poverty level.

Comprehensive primary care services for all ages, including:

• Well checks (newborn, infants, children, youth, adults, first trimester, gyne, through geriatrics)
• Acute care (sick visits, respiratory, neuro, GI, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, behavioral, mental health)
• Medicare annual visits
• Telehealth
• Curbsides

Procedures:

• Respiratory/ allergy: spirometry, allergy testing
• Genitourinary: pregnancy and STD testing
• Women care: pelvic exams, fetal heartrate doppler ultrasound checks
• Skin: incision and drainage of abscess wounds, wart removal, suture placement and removal
• Infectious disease rapid tests such as :
  • Respiratory: RSV, flu A&B, Covid-19, strep
  • Genitourinary:  G-C Chlamydia, urinalysis
• Drug testing via urine and/or blood
• Blood tests:
  • Rapid lead, mononucleosis, hemoglobin, and random glucose tests.
  • Collections for routine (CBC, CMP, Vitamin D), genetic and multiple/specialized panels
• Flouride varnish
• Vision screening (visual acuity and Plusoptix)
• Asthma evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and follow up
• Allergy testing, diagnosis/ immunotherapy
• Diabetes screening, diagnosis, maintenance and followup

Journey Pediatrics services include well child exams, vaccinations, sick visits, ADHD evaluation and treatment, circumcision and asthma control. They also offer a multitude of classes which include cooking classes for both adults and children. They also have nutrition classes. Journey Pediatrics also provide nutritional resources for breastfeeding and eating (starting solid foods and feeling picky eaters).

The Albuquerque Indian Health Center is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The Albuquerque Indian Health Center participate in several initiatives including Improving Patient Care, Model Diabetes Program, Patient-Centered Medical Home and Integrated behavioral health. The services provided include behavioral health, dental, diabetes care, weight loss/nutrition, women's health, well child care and optometry among many others. AIHC also provides care in the Zia Pueblo and the Santa Ana Pueblo via two Field Clinics.

CareLink NM Health Homes Program is an integrated health care service program for Medicaid behavioral health beneficiaries with a primary condition of Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED). The CareLink NM Health Homes Program coordinates behavioral & physical health care with community services to improve quality of care.

Arroyo Chamiso Pediatrics includes a team of providers who work with children in Northern New Mexico from birth to high school graduations. This care focuses on physical and emotional health, and prioritizes patient-provider relationships. Visits are solely made by appointment. Arroyo Chamiso Pediatrics provides healthcare services in order to assist in the growth of child clients. This is the main pediatric care resource for Christus St. Vincent.

Entrada Contenta Health Center provides urgent, family, and pediatric care with x-ray and lab services. The urgent care program treats acute illnesses and injuries in both adults and children on a walk-in basis. Family and pediatric care includes services for children zero through eighteen by providing comprehensive healthcare services to all patients via appointments. Entrada Contenta Health Center also offers laboratory and X-ray services for patients.

Christus St. Vincent partners with CHRISTUS health and local community health impact organization. Christus St. Vincent offers outpatient care at many practices, which include over specialty providers delivering Primary and Specialty Care services to North Central New Mexico. Christus St. Vincent offers access to family medicine, pediatricians, after hours care, and urgent care. Clients and their families have access to surgical services, women's care specialists, disease management experts, and all providers are board-certified in their specialties.
