UNM Truman Health Services' goal is to help clients live a healthy life with HIV. With medications and a healthy lifestyle, clients can reach an undetectable HIV viral load and improve their immune systems. Truman Health Services provides free testing, primary and specialty care for people with HIV, medication education and counseling, medication management, diagnostic assessments, neuropsychological assessments, counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatric consultations, substance use treatment and referral services, medical and non-medical case management, and social support services. They also offer chiropractic, acupuncture, medical massage and clinical nutrition.

Presbyterian Medical Services works collaboratively with community groups, school districts, local providers, hospitals and governments at every level. They develop programs and services that meet the needs of the people living within these communities. Their services include primary care, dental, behavioral health, early childhood education, supportive living, and senior programs. PMS operate approximately 100 programs in communities throughout the state. Many of the individuals served by Presbyterian Medical Services live at or below the federal poverty level.

Support groups are free and are designed by similar peers who offer support while dealing with challenges and triumphs of mood disorders and related behavioral health and medical health issues. Stand up to Stigma peer support groups offer peers a way to recovery for those with mental health issues.

Aprendamos Intervention Team is a therapist-run organization that serves children and families’ needs through early intervention. Team services include speech-language, occupational, physical, and family therapists. A nurse, nutritionist, family services coordinators, developmental instructions, infant massage therapists, and pediatric specialists are also available. Mental health clinicians specializing in play therapy interventions, MDMR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. The Autism program has 16 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and about 50 Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT).

MECA Therapies, LLC is a NM Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Early Intervention provider, serving children birth to 3 years old. They also provide children's outpatient therapy for ages 3 to 21 (not available in Clovis); Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children ages 2 to 21; and several home visiting programs for prenatal to 3 years old. Bilingual services are also provided. They have offices in Las Cruces, Hobbs, Clovis, and Roswell. They accept a variety of private and Medicaid-based insurance plans. All MECA therapies services can be conducted via in-person or telehealth visits as of April 2022.

Neuropsychological evaluation can be very effective in the documentation of the effects of treatment on specific deficits over time.
